連日600℃オーバー
軽井沢は10月後半になって夜は5度くらいまで気温が下がるようになってきた。今日の朝はマイナス2度まで下がった。もうすぐ冬シーズンになる。当然薪ストーブも毎夜全開で焚いているが、昨夜なんと650℃近くまでテーブルトップの温度が上がった。今シーズン初めてのオーロラ炎も出た。2年物の樫・ブナを薪として使っていることも原因の一つだが、焚き始めて火の回りがよくなった段階で大量の薪を投入し、全体に一通り火が廻った段階でダンパーを下げてコンバスター運転にすると、あっという間に600℃を越えることが分かった。これまであまり薪を入れずに焚いていたので、コンバスター運転にしても450℃くらいまでしか上がらなかったけど、薪をたくさん入れた方が温度も上がり、結果として長時間熱を蓄積できるので効率も良いことがわかった。今年の冬はこれまでよりも暖かに過ごせそうです。
