有笠山（No.3）

天気予報によると、今日を逃したらしばらく晴れる日はなさそうだったので、休みの予定を入れ替えてクライミングに行くことにした。最初は佐久に行こうと思ったけど、軽井沢は霧に包まれていたので佐久もそれほど天気は期待できそうになかったが、テレビで見る限り浅間山の群馬側は晴れ間が見えていたので、中之条にある有笠山に行くことにした。やっぱり浅間山噴火の影響をこの目で見ておきたいし。

いつもの通り、146号線を北軽井沢に向かう。今朝交通規制が解除されたばかりだったけど、車はそれほど多くなかった（もう少し野次馬が多いと思っていた）。峰の茶屋の手前で、それまで霧に包まれていた浅間山が少しづつ見えてきた。ここからはそんなに変わった様には見えない。灰も降っていないようだ。浅間牧場に入る交差点あたりまで来ると、結構灰が降ったようで、まだ道路の灰除去作業を行っていた。走っていても、木立に積もっていた灰が落ちてきてフロントガラスに当たる。このあたりでは臭い（花火の後のような火薬集）も感じた。でも降灰がひどいのはそのあたりだけで、しばらく進んだ地鶏牧場のあたりは降っていないようだった。

長野原を過ぎ、暮坂峠を越えて有笠山まで行く。途中コンビニによったけど家から80分程度。小川山よりは確実に近い。
平日の有笠山は当然また誰もいない。西口駐車場において、いつものように初心者ルートが多い偏屈岩へ向かう。今日はアブの大群の襲撃はない。もう季節は終わったみたい。アプローチ（といっても1分）はじめじめしていたけど、岩自体は乾いていた。3回連続しての偏屈岩。最近はトレーニングモードと思い、一つエリアで代表的なルートを段階ごとにきちんと落とすことにしている。あんまり浮気をしてるとなかなか上達しないので、きちんと通ってみてどうレベルアップできるか見てみようと思う。

まずはウォーミングアップで「青いパンツの男」に取り付く。三回目なので余裕。奥さんのためにトップロープをセットして降りる。次にトップロープで奥さんが登るが、全く危なげないので、リードで登ることを勧めてみた。奥さんは続けて登り、見事レッドポイント。続いて前回だめだった「リスのえさ箱」にトライ。このルートは前回アンダーのガバを使い忘れテンションしてしまった。今回はホールドも覚えているので、全く問題なくレッドポイント。奥さんがトップロープでトライし、いよいよ今日の第一の目標「有笠2000」へ。

「有笠2000」は出だしが核心。出だしのハングの上に身体をあげ、めちゃくちゃ痛いホールドで耐えて左手の縦ホールドを取り、レイバック気味に右手上のホールドをとりにいければ大体終了。その後はホールドも大きく問題なく終了点まで。
うれしいオンサイト。僕が登るのを見ていた奥さんがトップロープでやりたいと言い出したので、トップロープをセットして降りる。しかしトップロープでトライした奥さんは核心が越せず、結局もう一度トップロープで登り返して回収することに。しかしこれが悲しいことにトップロープで取り付くと核心が越せずにテンションしてしまった。オンサイトの後いきなり落ち込む。まだまだですな。

最後は今日の二本目の目標、イレブンの「家さんの腰つき」に取り付いてみた。
核心は中間部のハングから。ハング下の大ガバを取り、ハング上のスラブにずり上がる部分で、両手ともホールドが小さく悪い。これまでのガバガバ系とは一線を画し、やはりイレブンは厳しかった。いけそうなんだがうまく身体をひきつけることが出来ず、結局ヌンチャクを回収しながらクライムダウン。

天気も怪しくなってきて、奥さんももうおなかいっぱいとのことで、今日はここで切り上げる。
週三回ペースで外岩にいけると成長も早いんだろうけど、最近は台風の影響もあって朝錬もままならない。やっぱり冬前に地下ジムを作り始めないとダメかな～。
