小川山（No.7） 一日目

会社の制度であるリフレッシュ休暇を初めて使い、小川山でのレベルアップトレーニングを企画した。当初は毎日バリバリ登りこむつもりだったが、結局のんびりしてしまい、単なるリフレッシュになってしまった。しかし、連休前の小川山は、キャンパーも含めて人は殆どいなく、どのエリアに行っても貸切状態だったので、のんびりクライミングを楽しむことができた。

初日は朝準備をして出かけたために、3日間いるキャンプサイトを設営していたらすっかり正午を過ぎてしまった。初日なのでボルトプロテクションのフェースに行くことにして、初めてのエリアであるおばさん岩に行って見た。前回弟岩の「屋根の上のバイオリン弾き（5.11b）」の核心をスムーズに登れていたため、二階のおばさん岩の5.11aのオンサイトを目標にしていたが、ウォーミングアップで取り付いた5.9で思いっきりはまってしまった。新しいミウラのデビューということもあり、レイバックでステミング気味に足を決めることが恐ろしくてできない。「子供をなめるなよ」はなんとかオンサイトできたが、内面登攀並みのボディフリクションの使い方であまりにもかっこ悪い。「母子草」も本来は得意系なのだが、下部の細かいフェースはあまり問題ではなかったものの、二本走るクラックを取ってからがダメ。簡単なところなのでボルトもなく、長めのフォールなんぞしてしまい、めちゃくちゃブルーになってロワーダウンする。最後に最初にはまった「子供をなめるなよ」に再度取り付いたが、結局ワンテンションしてしまい、ものすごく落ち込む。
